Snorkelling the bombies

S

Our day started with paddle board around the bay before some super yummy crepes with berries and yoghurt while we discussed what everyone was going to do for the day. The kids decided they would do some school work so Pip and I decided to hit the water. We were anchored in 20m+ of water because Pip and John had told me that closed in the shallows there are bombies - big coral heads, not very wide but often quite tall. We had a great time exploring and looking at the little fish amongst the coral heads. Pip spotted a couple bigger fish. Just before we got back to the tender we swam into a massive bait ball with thousands of fish. I was in awe. We lay still on the surface for almost five minutes while the fish swam circles around us. How amazing.
