Picture perfect Italy

We relocated earlier this week from Bolzano to Riva del Garda and the playing field has been levelled - signs are now exclusively in Italian, and we hear very little German in the streets. We also had a stereotypical tourist experience to go with it.. key word: overcharging, justified by language barrier.

Riva del Garda and all the villages our bus from Bolzano took through tick postcard boxes: narrow roads, suicidal motorists, pretty village squares, absolutely heeving in the evenings!!
